Packaging: No excessive filling. The shipping box was recyclable and included an eco-friendly pouch that can be used for travel.
Best Skin types to use it: Normal to dry
Main ingredients: Grapeseed oil, oat & fig milks, baobab, and aloe vera
Size: 4 oz
How I used it: The first time using it was after a day of wearing only sunscreen. It didn’t strip my skin and had no discernible smell. I think it has a texture similar to hair conditioner, which isn’t a bad thing! The next day I wore a face fill of makeup and used it after oil cleansing. I was pleasantly surprised to find no traces of makeup left on my face.
Thoughts: It’s a good cleanser even for those with combination-oily skin like myself. You do get a small lather when you mix it with water. It’s creamy and leaves my face feeling moisturized and clean. If you’re planning on using it after wearing a face full of makeup, it’s better to go in with an oil cleanser first and use this one second. I think it’s does a good job at cleansing without drying your face out.
Would I repurchase? While I love the fact that it hasn’t caused me to break out, there are other lesser expensive cleansers that also do a great job. I won’t pass it up if I can catch this on sale again.
