How I use it
I apply this sun cream every morning after my skin routine (will post an update to this one soon). Everything I use now hydrates my skin so it’s a good thing this sun cream doesn’t take away from that. The texture is definitely light-weight and feels like a cream based moisturizer. It does contain alcohol which contributes to it absorbing quickly despite the amount I applied to my face.
The best part of using this is probably the fact that it doesn’t have a white cast. I literally disappears into my skin and I love it.
CosRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream might just be my fave sunscreen. The fragrance smells clean and fresh but it might be a turn-off if you’re sensitive to smells. I’ve been using this for about a month with no breakouts or any other issues.
In addition to being suitable for all skin tones, this sunscreen should also work for all skin types because of its moisturizing properties. Dry skin types may still need to use a moisturizer underneath while oilier skin types can get away with using it by itself. Do what works best for your skin.
I usually apply a face primer before my foundation but since using this product I haven’t felt the need to do so. None of my makeup products haven’t pilled while using this sunscreen nor has my skin felt dry. I’ve already purchased a replacement bottle and plan on switching my son to this product once his other sunscreen runs out.
These types of reviews are for skincare items and how they work (or not) for me. I don’t like to go into too much detail since skincare is so personal and subjective. I’m not a professional and am not responsible for any outcomes you have if you try this product.
